Womens Bean Project

In the course “Integrated Multimedia Development” I worked with a team to produce creative for real-world clients. One of the projects I participated in was Womens Bean Project. They were looking for updated photos for their website, and a hero video for their organization.

Starting off with the interview, we ran two cameras from different angles to get a nice shot variety. I also tethered my camera to my laptop to ensure that we get razor sharp footage. We utilized three sources of audio to ensure we got what we needed. Afterwards, we we’re set loose at the facility where we captured video of the dutiful women doing their thing.

We split the editing duties between a team member and I. She did a fantastic job on the rough cut, and then I came in an finalized it. I added in the music, cleaned up the sound design, and color corrected.

The final video was a 2 minute hero video that showcases the journey that women take when joining the program, and shows what they will be taking part in.
